| SPM Whisker Gates | SPM Whisker Gates feature bright orange or green whiskers, 9” or 13.75” long, attached to an 8” lightly threaded base that is easily inserted into the snow. (28mm or 30mm drill bit recommended.) The shorter 17” Whisker Gates are ideal for training courses, teaching the concept of line, gate initiation, and rise line. Also ideal for speed event training to show high-speed turn initiation. Short Whisker Gates can
be easily skied over without breaking the gate or damaging skis. The new 13.75" Whisker Gates with longer whiskers are more easily seen, even in soft piling snow, making them
suitable as carving course gates, identifying lift unloading areas, and marking terrain park features, or even as beginner gates in a “course”. Both versions are lightweight, easy to set-up and remove, and carry — just toss them in our Whisker Gate Bag or backpack.
Used on training hills everywhere and by the Green Mountain Valley School, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Sun Valley Company, and Osler Bluff Racing.
